On October 1st, 2022, GreenTomato Academy (GTA) was invited by the Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office (KTEO) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to deliver a lecture on how to prove their ideas and implement their entrepreneurial ideas with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to 80 early-stage entrepreneurs in the program of PolyU Student Entrepreneurial Proof-of-Concept (POC) with over 50 projects.
In the lecture, Hanson Cheung, the general manager of Storellet and the former product manager of Hong Kong Movie. Hanson introduced Hong Kong Movie as a case study to students. They were taught about problems they could face, how to ideate and conduct research, how to find the right product-market fit and how to evaluate. After the lecture, the students immediately consulted Hanson about their business plans. To further strengthen the understanding and help students apply what they have learned, GTA also prepared self-study materials for the students after the seminar, materials which will be useful on their road to entrepreneurship.
